Course Introduction

Read Course Description

Every website you will build is going to have some common features between them, for example, they might all need navigation, paragraphs of text, contents that you need to float side by side, form fields for people to use to contact you etc. Imagine having to style all the elements from scratch each time, that would be a massive waste of time. When we use bootstrap on our websites, it applies default styles to these elements so we don't have to.

There are other things that take even longer time than basic styling of elements, for example making our websites mobile friendly, this involves creating complex components that would resize our HTML elements to display properly on mobiles, we will learn how to use bootstrap's grid system to solve this problem so we don't have to build it ourselves from scratch.

Bootstrap is an open source toolkit, it is built by some really clever people. I really look forward to teaching you this course and I know you will absolutely love it!
